Welcome to “Information Overload.” I struggled with the idea of creating this blog. If I build it will they come? I suppose we shall find that out as time goes on.
You’ll find here, eventually, an assortment of entries. Some entries will be full of tips and tricks on technologies used in the library world. Other entries will highlight some of the uses those technologies are being put to in our member libraries. Once and a while an entry may appear that seems a little out of place – a result, no doubt, of my odd personality.
I hope you will read and comment – post your questions so all can benefit from the answers. Those answers hopefully will not always come from me. The genius of a blog environment is the voice it gives all its subscribers.

If you haven’t used flickr you ought to check it out. I’ll post a cheat sheet for flickr in the near future; stay tuned.
Feel free to explore the blog – you’ll notice in the right hand column a category named Database Help – there sits the first blog entry. Enjoy!
